Well we finished off at the arrival of kibbutz Elrom, since then we have been on several excursions and taken many pictures. Most of which we'll have to show once we return but for now we will start with,
The Valley of tears
This is on our way to the valley, we we're heavily cautioned by many local folk to avoid the interior of these MINE fields, marked by little red triangles along the rows of barbed wire and the occasional yellow "warning: you may blow into peices" sign.

These pictures include shots from mount hermon near the border between Israel and Syria, and a picture of mount Bental and the water resevoir that feeds into Kibbutz Morom Golan(the neighboring Kibuttz of ours), a meal that we shared in Mas'ade, some local druze villages and lastly our kibbutz dinning hall on a celabration night(independence day:Israel).

These are pics from the underground dugout used by the Israeli armed forces during the 6 day war against Syria. The white mountainous rock is Syrian territory.

This is a speaking platform in the tourist area.
In an unrealated domestic dispute between the Kelly quest couple, blasts of fire power were spotted by passersby as sergent Johanna drove over top of private Nicholas leg. In retroactive spite towards the opressor, private Nicholas took vengence in his own hands by blasting a bazooka rocket (unseen) in the general direction of the enemy resulting in the decapitation of the tank in which sergent Johanna resided. This vengance is certainly frowned upon by the teachings and life lessons of Jesus, specifically LOVE your enemies... DO GOOD to those who hurt you ... PRAY for those who persecute you.

Isreali National Trail:
This trail definetly takes the cake in scenery so many pics not enough time (or patience) to post them all.

Awesome pics! Watch out for those tanks...you goof!
ReplyDeleteAny word yet on when you have to leave the kibbutz? Do you know where you are heading next? The Iceland volcano is still causing some airports in the UK to close; good time to go to Egypt maybe!
